It is a great privilege to be able to read.
Even more to love to read.
And you strike gold when you have the ability to read to learn and teach yourself anything to a very high degree out of pure enjoyment and pleasure in loving learning. Here at Children Whoo Read the goal is to help you nurture a love of learning in your children through good books and creativity. I want to encourage you to see learning for the exciting adventure it is, and to go on that great expedition with your children. Through insightful book reviews, articles, and creative project ideas I share ways to make that adventure memorable, profitable, and joyful
Hi! I am Janiece, a home educator to three little blessings and wife to the most wonderful man I have ever known. I love watching my children embark on great adventures through books and discover things that fill their little souls with wonder- wonder about God and His creative power in the world He made, wonder about brave and curious people who lived long ago, and most importantly wonder about their own hearts and lives and their roles in God’s world.
And oh the joy that fills a mama’s heart when the outcome of that adventure is a curious child who has learned all they could learn on a topic (through reading and creating) and is ready for the next feat.
Yes you can have (curious, creative, voracious-reading) children who love to learn.
Yes you can cultivate that adventurous heart I just mentioned.
And no, you do not have to put your sanity or your pocketbook on the altar.
I’ll show you…
