Somehow creating insects helps us to be less afraid of them. Your kids will love these fun and easy collage insect crafts! Collage is a technique employed by many artists and illustrators. The different bits of magazine inevitably show through the paint and add texture and interest. The best part of this project is that there are no rules except to make sure it has the basic insect characteristics: two antennae and six legs. For an added writing activity, you can have your children give their insect a name, type, and make up basic facts about their insect’s unique attributes.
